MongoDB In-Depth: Installing MongoDB on Windows

In the previous post we installed MongoDB on Linux on this post we are going to install MongoDB on Windows.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to https://www.mongodb.com/download-center/community, then click on the "Download" button























Once completed execute the msi file.

2.  Click "Next" and accept the license agreement, when you get to the "Choose Type" select "Complete"






























3.  Accept the option to install MongoDB as a windows service by clicking "Next"






























4. Click "Next" to install MongoDB graphical user interface






























5. Finally, click install


6. After you've completed the installation MongoDB Compass will install, and launch
7. Accept the license agreement, then click on the "Connect" button

































8. Once you see the status screen your installation is successful
